Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNO): The Justice and Development Front (JDF) has announced its decision to exit the People's Alliance for Change (PAC).
In an official statement, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) JDF General Secretary Sayar Ahmad Reshi cited differences in the modus operandi of the PAC as the reason for the split. "Within the alliance framework, JDF has always exercised its democratic right to express differing opinions.
After due reflection, we believe that pursuing an independent course will better serve our vision, values, and principles," the statement read.
The JDF expressed gratitude to former allies, well-wishers, and the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their trust and confidence. The party reaffirmed its commitment to democratic values, transparency, accountability, and dedicated public service moving forward independently.
Sources told KNO that JDF had committed to allies that they will field their own candidate in Budgam by-polls but later "backtracked" from its commitment.
This displeased other allies of the conglomerate—(KNO)
